Technology
Shredders and grinders cut material with blades that dull. The TORXX Kinetic Pulverizer® machine uses high-speed air and matter-on-matter impact instead, so the material does the work.

How it works
Following decades of research and development, TORXX has commercialized kinetic pulverization: a new generation of size-reduction equipment that opens up materials previously considered too difficult or too expensive to recycle.

Size reduced to a pre-determined size, with a much narrower size distribution.

Separated into their component parts, which size reduce at different speeds depending on their density and brittleness.

Blown apart into their constituent materials, which are then size reduced at their own speeds. This is how blade composite is broken down.
What happens inside
Feed in mixed material of different shapes and sizes. Inside the drum, the pieces hit each other and pulverize. What comes out is smaller, consistent and ready to separate.
01 · Load
Material of almost any shape and size is fed into the top of the drum, alone or as a blended feed.
02 · Pulverize
TORXX™ wear pads driven by a 500 HP motor create powerful air vortices that hurl particles into each other. Brittle material becomes granules or powder, soft material becomes fluff, and bonded layers come apart.
03 · Separate
Output leaves at a consistent, pre-set size and is screened into separate, saleable streams.
